Session Description

Long gone are the days of carefully-curated newspapers with AM and PM deliveries. After CNN and 24-hour news bureaus joined the scene, expectations for up-to-the-moment news skyrocketed, and 27 years we’ve entered a digital age where a single Tweet, Snap or Facebook video can set the news agenda. In this session, Michael Krinzman of Gannett will share how newsrooms can meet audience demand for immediate coverage of breaking news, complete with video with just their smartphones. He will discuss how reporters can create and share video from the field in near real-time and incentivize their audience to to share their MoJo as well.
