Thank you for your interest\u00a0in volunteering at ONA17! It\u2019s a great experience to not only help advance digital journalism, but also meet other volunteers and attendees. Make sure to read the details below before you apply.<\/p>\n

Our volunteers are a critical part of the conference and help staff the registration desk, support our exhibit and midway spaces, offer attendees help in finding sessions\u00a0and greet folks at\u00a0special events like receptions.\u00a0Volunteers work an eight to 10 hour shift.<\/p>\n

In return, you\u2019ll get free and guaranteed registration to what has been a sold-out conference 10\u00a0years running. There\u2019s plenty of camaraderie, lots of food\u00a0and caffeine, and reasonable hours that allow you time to network and take advantage of the inspiring educational sessions at the conference. If you\u2019re selected, positions will be assigned during the summer.<\/p>\n
