Newseum to serve as ONA17 Opening Night Reception venue

Join ONA at the iconic Newseum in downtown Washington for this year’s Opening Night Reception. Network with friends old and new. Enjoy drinks and world-class appetizers as you tour one of the most interactive museums in the world and enjoy spectacular fall views of D.C. landmarks.

Since opening in 2008, more than seven million people have visited the Newseum’s modern building located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue, tracing the evolution of electronic communication from the birth of radio, to the technologies of the present and the future.

Date: Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017
Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
– Buses begin shuttle service to Newseum from Marriott Wardman at 5:30 p.m.
Location: Newseum, 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Transit: ONA will provide bus transportation from the host hotel, starting at 5:30 p.m. Transit will begin shuttling back to the Marriott Wardman Park starting at 7:45 p.m., and the last bus will leave the Newseum at 9 p.m.

Be sure to bring your badge. ONA17 attendees with full conference passes will be admitted to the event. Exhibit-only and Midway-only ONA17 pass holders can purchase advance tickets for $50, but non-conference attendees and guests are not permitted.
