Andrew Golis
Andrew Golis is the General Manager of Vox, the pioneering explanatory news brand and flagship property of Vox Media. As GM, Golis oversees Vox’s growing businesses in text, video, and audio journalism.
Prior to joining Vox Media, Golis was the founder and CEO of the link-sharing startup This., and an executive at The Atlantic, FRONTLINE, Yahoo! News, and Talking Points Memo. Golis also served on the advisory board to the Guardian Mobile Innovation Lab and is a former board member of The Media Consortium.
Golis graduated from Harvard College, where he studied American political history. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, feminist author and journalist Jessica Valenti, and their daughter and dog.
