Elizabeth Rich is the Commentary Editor for Education Week and edweek.org, overseeing the paper's print and online opinion content, including essays and blogs. She joined EPE in 2007 as an assistant editor and writer for Education Week Teacher. Previously, she was an award-winning documentary filmmaker, public radio producer, and educator in public schools in the District of Columbia and a Tribal Even Start program in Oklahoma. She has a B.A. in English from Barnard College and a M.A. in cultural reporting and criticism from New York University.
